Marine solutions & CONSULTING

As an ABYC-certified master marine tech, I take pride in delivering work that’s done right the first time, so you can know your boat is ready for whatever adventure comes next.

Services

Fiberglass & Structural Repairs

From bulkhead repairs to wet deck core replacement to full stringer builds, many projects rely on fiberglass to provide strength and durability.

Fine Finishes & Painting

Whether it’s new non-skid or refinishing a varnished teak interior, fine finishes are an area that can make a dramatic difference to the look and feel of your boat.

Engines & Systems

From watermakers to heaters, solar panels to lithium batteries — the systems you depend on are critical to enjoying your time on the water.

“Having just completed a singlehanded Atlantic crossing and a rounding of Cape Horn including 15,000 NM on a boat that Jonathan refit and outfitted for cruising, I would highly recommend his work to anyone looking to improve or repair their boat. Whether you’re looking to cruise offshore, upgrade, or maintain your boat, Jonathan is a fountain of knowledge that I would refer to anyone.”

About Jonathan

I’ve been sailing and working on boats since I was a child growing up on the coast of Maine. I hold a USCG 50-ton Master Near Coastal license with sailing and towing endorsements and I’m an ABYC-certified marine electrician.

I’m proud to share a selection of the many projects and lessons I’ve learned over the last 10+ years of marine work and boat ownership, including some of the lessons learned (often the hard way) along the journey.

My goal is simple: to give you the peace of mind that your boat is in the best hands, so you can focus on enjoying your time at sea—because I know firsthand how much boats mean to the people who own them.

If you’re looking for help with a project on your boat, don’t hesitate to reach out. Big or small, on the water or on the hard, I’m always excited to be a part of a boat project.

I also love to hear from others who are attempting similar projects; reach out any time.
