Replacing wet compromised balsa deck core and painting the cabintop with new softsand nonskid

The core on this 1987 Sabre 42′ was a known issue. Marking out the wet areas with a moisture meter revealed that the cabintop was the most highly impacted.

This was also the time to rebed hatches, overdrill and epoxy fill the deck hardware holes, and update the deck paint and nonskid using Softsand and Alexseal.
